Course Information
XTERRA Swim - 880 yards (1/2 Mile) 2 lap swim.
Spillway Sprint Tri Swim - 450 Yards (1/4 Mile)
DeGray Lake: rated as one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in America. You can drink it...
The race begins with a deep water start. The Entry and Finish area is located on at the waters edge.
Historically the water temp in June is in the low to upper 70's. to low 80's. If water temp is below 78F wet suit will be allowed
We are Pleased to announce that we have formed a relationship with the AR Canoe Club to assist with water safety.
XTERRA Bike Course - 15 Miles
There will be 2 Miles of paved road first to get to the trail system Then 11 miles of single track followed by 2 miles of paved road to return to the transition area .
Spillway Sprint Triathlon / Duathlon BIKE - 13.5 Miles
Newly repaved (fall of 2009) roads for most of the course. But it ain't flat...
XTERRA DeGray Run Course - 3.5 miles
Combination of Forest roads and trails
Spillway Sprint RUN - 3 Miles
The Course is out and back on Skyline Drive and Forestry Circle road. Aid station will be located at roughly 1 mile increments
Spillway Sprint Duathlon Runs - 2 mile first run 3 mile second run
The Course is out and back on Skyline drive and Forestry Circle road. Aid Stations will be located at roughly 1 mile increments.
1st and second run are the same.
