Half Iron and open water Swim - 1.2 miles
DeGray Lake: rated as one of the cleanest fresh water lakes in America. You can drink it...
The race begins with a deep water start. The Entry and Finish area is located on a concrete boat ramp.
Half Iron Swim course will close 1 Hour 10 minutes after the send off of the last wave. Historically the water
temp in mid June is in the mid to High 70's. If water temp is above 78F wet suit will not be allowed
Half Iron Bike Course - 56 Miles
2 Lap out and back bike course. Roughly 3400 ft of elevation change.
Half Iron and Half Marathon RUN - 13.1 Miles
This is a 3 lap run course, using Skyline, forestry circle and Lake view Dr. Aid Stations will be approximately each mile. Water, Sports Drink, Fruit, and more.
